Dr. Leslie Yuan Gazdeck, DDS, MSD

Dr. Leslie Yuan Gazdeck (Dr. Gazdeck) was raised in Cary, North Carolina ever since she was 2. She's basically a local! She graduated from Enloe High School in Raleigh and already had an inkling she wanted to be an orthodontist after getting her braces in high school. She continued her college education at the prestigious Ivy League college University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Gazdeck is a proud alum of UNC School of Dentistry and graduated in 2013.
Dr. Gazdeck then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA treating medically complex patients. During this year, she met many adult patients who talked to her about how fearful they were of the dentist based on their experiences as children. It was during that year that she realized how much she loved pediatric dentistry during a rotation and so she decided to further train for an extra 2 years to receive her Masters in Sciences in Dentistry at the University of Washington. She worked in New York City for a year as her husband completed a fellowship and now her and her family moved back to North Carolina in 2018.
She is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, which means she went through rigorous written and oral examination in order to achieve this status. She has been in practice for over 10 years and believes in evidence-based treatments, diet-based prevention and cultivating positive behaviors so kids can be great adult patients.
Dr. Gazdeck is married to her husband Dr. R. Kyle Gazdeck who is a maxillofacial prosthodontist (they met in dental school!) and they have 3 boys, Nate (6), Matt (4). and Will (2). They attend Summit Church. She loves frequenting the gym and traveling (she's been to all 7 continents)!

CaitieMy name is Caitie and I am a dental assistant and also help with the administrative tasks for the office. I have worked in dentistry for over 5 years and working with kids is what I enjoy the most about my job. They say the funniest things.

Allie My name is Allie, and I am a dental assistant at Cultivate Kids Dentistry. I graduated from NC Dental U in 2021 and I decided to pursue a job in the dental field because as a kid I went to the dentist quite often for my own dental needs. I really want our patients to have a positive experience so that they can be great patients in the future. I enjoy spending time outside with my family; as well as staying in and watching a good movie. In my down time you can catch me drawing or journaling my day away.

AshleyMy name is Ashley, I am a dental assistant at Cultivate Kids Dentistry! I graduated from NC Dental U in October of 2022, shortly after I joined Cultivate! I love working with kids and seeing the joy in their faces as they come thru the door. When I’m not working, I love hanging out with my 2 fur babies, and going shopping in my free time!

SamMy name is Sam. I am the scheduling coordinator and the first face you see when you visit Cultivate Kids Dentistry. I have been in dentistry for nearly 10 years, and I love seeing all of our amazing patients each day! I have two children of my own and one fur baby named Remi. When I am not working my life revolves around the simple joys of family and the great outdoors.

VioletMy name is Violet and I'm one of the dental assistants at Cultivate Kids! The best parts of my job are goofing around with the kids and helping the ones that may be nervous about coming to the dentist. When I'm not hanging out with Dr. Gazdeck and the crew, I love going to vintage clothing shops and thrifting, spending time with my two pups and my husband Bryant, and curling up with a good book!
