​why did I want to open this office?

I have worked in quite a few offices as an associate in many different parts of the country (New York, Chicago, Cary) and learned so much about the way I practice and the confidence in which to perform dental procedures at a high level. While I really enjoyed being an associate, my true passion has always been to create an environment that was uniquely true to who I am as a pediatric dentist because I’ve always loved my job. It’s not just about dentistry it’s about the relationships and knowing that there is another adult on your child’s side that wants them to succeed and pursue their dreams! (It takes a village, doesn't it?)

why should i take my child to a pediatric dentist? 

I may be biased on this topic, but as a pediatric dentist, I received 2 additional years of training specifically about baby teeth after dental school. While many general dentists feel comfortable treating kids, I only see kids all day every day. Our team uses the smallest x-ray sensors to fit tiny mouths that many offices don't have, and we are trained in all types of behavior management techniques in order to allow your child to have the best experience possible. We want to encourage all parents to bring their children to a pediatric dentist, just like you bring your child to the pediatrician! 

When should I bring my child to see you?

I strongly adhere to the guidelines put forth by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry which recommends all children to be seen by age 1, or whenever their 1st tooth erupts, whichever comes first! I want Cultivate Kids to be your dental home for your child, and I've found the earlier children are seen, the lower risk for cavities they have because we have been able to teach you how best to keep them cavity free. 

What makes us different?

I believe that there is an incredibly special relationship that we want to foster between us and your children, that simply cannot be obtained at a large clinic where multiple doctors work and have a ton of staff members (I know because I've worked at a large office!)

We are a one dentist, one location practice, and we love the fact that you will get to grow with us and know you will be seeing Dr. Gazdeck each. and. every. single time. Dentistry involves trust and I love the fact that we have a small team that will grow with your child and knows your child...even more than your pediatrician that you see yearly!

As a start-up office, I have hand-picked every instrument, material, and every team member in order to create a space that I am proud to work in. I pride myself in attention to detail and creating a space that I would want my own kids to come to for their visits. I truly love pediatric dentistry and feel it is an honor to be a health care provider for your family. The best compliments I've received are the parents asking if they can be my patients...:)

Dr. Gazdeck believes in offering optimal care and prides herself on high-quality dental work and dental work that is successful. We are thrilled to be a part of the Knightdale community. 

We accept new patients from age 0 - 12. Dr. Gazdeck will inform you if your child is ready to see a general dentist earlier, as your child's needs dictate.
